Thank you so much for joining our Affiliates Program. Changing the world for horses is no easy task and we appreciate very much every ounce of help we get. Every time you send out a link or a graphic you are helping horses live happier, healthier lives… and… earning commissions for yourself.

On the “Creatives” page of your Affiliate Area you will be able to view graphics and copy and paste the HTML for each one right onto your website or into your newsletter or blog. Each graphic will have your personal identifier built into it so whenever anyone clicks on the graphic or link they will be taken to a page on our website and if they purchase a product we will receive notice that you have earned a commission. When your commissions total $25 or more you will receive a payment.

If you prefer to use a link instead of a graphic, for example to use in an email or on Social Media, simply follow this instruction:

1. Copy the specific link you would like to use from the list below.

2. Paste it into the “Page URL” field on your “Affiliate URLs” page in your Affiliate Area.

3. Click on ”Generate URL” and the link will be returned to you with your unique ID in it.

4. Then paste the newly generated link wherever you would like and when someone clicks on it and buys a book or product on our website, we will be notified that you have earned a commission.

If you would like to use a graphic (like a book cover, or photo) in a social media post you can do it one of two ways. Every graphic on our website can be downloaded to your computer by simply right clicking (control-click on Mac) the graphic you want. A box will pop up allowing you to save the graphic to your desktop (or any folder you choose). The second way is to send Nancy an email describing the graphic you want and she will attach it to a return email.

Then you can embed your link with your unique ID into the graphic in blog posts, websites, and newsletters or you can use it to accompany a post with a link on social media.

Also, we are re-configuring our top-rated blog posts and articles with “Affiliate Friendly” status that you can send to your followers and referrals, re-configured to generate Affiliate commissions with the books promoted at the end of each educational and hopefully inspirational post. Go to the blog (https://thesoulofahorse.com/blog) and scroll down through the headlines and if there’s a post you’d like to use that we haven’t sent you, just tell us which one and we will re-configure it (meaning no Amazon, B&N, iBooks, or other third-party links) and send you a new link to that new page.

You can keep up with your referrals and commissions on the “Statistics” and “Referrals” pages in your Affiliate Area. The “Visits” page tells you how many of your followers have clicked on one of your links and gone to our website.

Note: You can create additional links by copying the URL for any page on our site and following the instruction above to install your unique ID into that link.

But… we recommend that you not copy any book or product page links that have the word “blog” in the URL. Because the blog houses all the book and product pages that DO contain links to Amazon, iBooks, B&N, etc. The main website houses all the book and product pages without third-party links.

That’s pretty much invisible to the average visitor but effectively we have two separate websites that look like one. Don’t ask why :). It would take a long time to explain and it’s pretty stoopid.

But if you would like to send a particular article or blog post to your followers (for example the page about our “No Agenda Time”), please drop Nancy or me an email and we will configure a version of that page without any third party links on it and send you a new URL.

Also, on all of the pages listed below, the menu items for “The Store” and “The Books of Joe Camp” and all the graphics in the side columns link to a page with purchase options only from our website. If one of your referrals, for example, goes outside of these “Affiliate Friendly pages” he or she might click on one of those third party links to make a purchase. We have no control or ability to monitor sales that are made off site, like on Amazon, iBooks, Barnes & Noble, or in a book store, so it’s very important for your commissions that your referrals be directed to these pages that sell personally inscribed copies of the books and DVDs from our website.

Suffice to say, any link that you find on below or that we send to you personally at your request are “Affiliate Friendly”.

There are two separate “stores” on our website. Yep, the one for the normal visitor has the word “blog” in the URL and the one for your followers doesn’t. This is seamless to all visitors so long as you stick to the links and images provided to you. If one of your followers wanders “off campus” so to speak and reads a few articles or posts, so long as he or she still purchases personally inscribed books or DVDs from our website, you will still get a commission. But once they have wandered “off campus” the only way back in is by using the back arrow or by using one of the links below. In other words, the average visitor who just strays onto our website will never see any of “your” pages and therefore will always have access to third-party purchases. But even on those pages, if your referral clicks on “Personally Inscribed” links that will generate your commission. So, anyway, please keep these provided links handy. This message and updated lists of Affiliate Friendly links will also be posted on our website under the title “Welcome Affiliates”.

Custom Graphics:
If you cannot find graphics that work for you on the “Creatives” page of your Affiliate Area contact Nancy Garrett (nancy@thesoulofahorse.com) and explain what you would like to have and we’ll do our best to generate it for you if we have the necessary materials. Or, if you know how, you are welcome to download graphics from our website and create your own “Creative” using links with your own unique ID.
